The Beijing Daily Use Chemical Plant No.2 is in charged by Beijing government and subordinated to Beijing first light industry Co., Ltd.

　　The Beijing Daily Use Chemical Plant No.2 has already covered a remarkable journey of 40 years and great changes have taken place in this enterprise. This enterprise has experienced a tremendous change and developed from one making furfural products at the initial stage into a national large backbone enterprise synthetic detergents. In the early 1980s,we successfully became one of the largest synthetic detergents producers in China. We persistently pushed forward technological progress and better scientific management. We introduced the state-of-the-art technical devices as well as products that are up to the first-rate standards of the world. A joint venture was set up in 1994 for the introduction of a detergent powder production line with the investment from P&G Corporation in the United States, which has now gained remarkable benefits and strongly fortified the advantageous position of this factory. More over, we has created two famous brand of products i.e., Goldfish and Panda detergents. It is equipped with technical facilities that are up to the international standards of the 1990s, and can produce first-rate products that have high content of technology and strong brand features. Therefore, this enterprise has a strong power in competition and constant impetus for future development. At the ent of 2000,the enterprise transformed to a joint-stock company and we became the biggest shareholder of Beijing Gold Fish Technology Co., Ltd. holding 51% share.
